Oxford Innovation EIS Growth Fund alongside OION angel investors, has invested in Homemove, the all-in-one platform revolutionising the home moving journey.
Homemove streamlines the traditionally fragmented and stressful process of moving house. Through its intuitive digital platform, users can manage every aspect of their move, from estate agents to mortgages, surveys, conveyancing and removals, all in one place. This holistic and customer-first approach has already propelled the company to $5 million in revenue within three years of launch, reflecting both rapid growth and strong market demand.
Homemove’s platform has gained widespread traction by addressing a long-standing pain point in the residential property sector. With technology at its core and a mission to empower movers through transparency and simplicity, Homemove is well-placed to redefine how people experience one of life’s biggest transitions.
The investment formed part of Homemove’s recent $5 million funding round and marks Oxford Innovation Finance’s continued commitment to supporting technology-driven solutions tackling real-world challenges. The funding will support Homemove’s expansion as it continues to develop its core verticals, accelerate product innovation and build national brand recognition.
James Freestone, CEO and co-founder of Homemove said: “We’re excited to have Oxford Innovation Finance join our investor group at such a pivotal moment. Their experience in supporting transformative early-stage companies aligns closely with our long-term strategy as we continue to grow our platform and reach more movers across the UK. This funding enables us to accelerate development across our five core verticals, deepen integration with key industry partners and expand our national footprint. Our goal is not only to simplify the home moving process but to build the market-leading platform in proptech that becomes the default destination for anyone planning a move in the UK.”
Richard Cooper, Managing Director at Oxford Innovation Finance, commented: “The UK home moving process is notoriously complex and fragmented. Homemove’s digital-first approach not only simplifies this journey but also improves transparency and confidence for homeowners. We are pleased to support James, Louis and the team as they continue to scale an impactful, user-focused solution in a market ripe for innovation.”
