Oxford Innovation Finance’s EIS Growth Fund and OION Angel Network have invested £350,000 in Study Hall, an agentic learning platform that provides personalised learning agents for reading, writing and exam preparation.
Study Hall prepares students to thrive in an AI-driven world by focusing on foundational skills in reading and mathematics. In an era of cost-cutting and AI-powered efficiency, the platform offers an end-to-end reading, writing and assessment solution. StudyHall.AI, a Google-approved platform for children under 13, promotes AI literacy by offering safe and engaging Academic AI experiences while fostering a responsible and informed approach to technology.
Study Hall’s literacy products Deep Reader and Book Talk are designed to accelerate reading proficiency. Deep Reader features an AI-reading coach inside best-selling books, helping students to engage with content they love and improve vocabulary, comprehension and critical thinking skills. Book Talk is a an AI-reading coach that talks to kids about print books and coaches them to write book reviews and generate images. Both products are aligned with the science-of-reading and empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed academically and navigate the evolving landscape of AI, ensuring they are well-prepared for future opportunities.
This new £500,000 investment will enable the company to develop its AI literacy resources and advance its AI-based adaptive learning and assessment platforms to enhance the educational experience for students, and position Study Hall for sustained growth in the evolving edtech landscape.
