Oxford Innovation Finance is pleased to announce its sponsorship agreement with Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE). The collaboration sees OSE sponsor the Oxford Investment Opportunity Network (OION), an established angel investor network that connects carefully selected, investment-ready companies with experienced private investors.
The sponsorship agreement brings together two organisations united by a shared mission to grow innovation, investment and entrepreneurship in Oxford and across the UK. It reflects Oxford Innovation Finance’s commitment to support the Oxford Innovation Ecosystem by building strong, collaborative relationships with leading investment organisations, ensuring that innovative UK businesses have access to the capital, expertise and networks they need to grow and succeed.
Oxford Innovation Finance provides early-stage investment through EIS funds and co-investment opportunities, supporting high-growth, innovation-led businesses across the UK. Through its investment activity and ecosystem-building initiatives, it works closely with founders and investors to accelerate company growth and unlock long-term value. Its angel network, OION, is a core part of Oxford Innovation Finance’s own contribution to the ecosystem.
“We are delighted to welcome Oxford Science Enterprises as an official Sponsor of Oxford Innovation Finance’s angel network OION,” said Jens Tholstrup, Executive Chairman of Oxford Innovation Finance. “OSE’s unparalleled expertise in scaling deep technology and science-led businesses will be of immense value to our portfolio companies and investor network. This partnership further strengthens our collective ability to support Oxfordshire’s most promising innovators, providing them with better access to capital, insights and meaningful connections.”
